General FAQs
- 01Yes! Therapy can be life-changing when you’re ready to show up for yourself. Therapy offers a confidential, nonjudgmental space to process life’s challenges, improve your mental health, and reconnect with your inner wisdom. At Revived Soul Wellness, we support clients through: Racial trauma and race-based stress Imposter syndrome and burnout recovery Depression and anxiety management Relationship and boundary issues Unresolved childhood trauma and grief Body image and self-worth challenges First-generation pressure and perfectionism Whether you’re looking for emotional support, coping strategies, or transformational healing, therapy can be a powerful step in your personal liberation journey.
- 02Therapy at Revived Soul Wellness may be a good fit if you are ready to slow down, get curious about your protective patterns, and explore how burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, racial stress, and intergenerational trauma show up in your body, relationships, and nervous system. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and depth-oriented. Sessions may include parts work, Brainspotting, somatic reflection, and nervous system pacing. This means we may not rush toward quick advice or immediate problem-solving. Instead, we work to understand what is underneath the pattern so change can feel more sustainable. This may not be the best fit if you are only looking for worksheets, crisis-only support, quick advice, or a highly directive coaching style. If you are new to parts work, we will move slowly, explain the process, and check in together about whether the approach feels supportive. This process is for folks looking to slow down and connect to their inner wisdom.
- 03We begin with a free 20-minute consultation, where we get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit. You can ask questions, share what you're seeking, and get a feel for our connection. If we decide to move forward, you’ll receive digital intake forms and practice policies. In the first three sessions, we will focus on understanding what brings you in, identifying the protective patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, overworking, or disconnection, and exploring whether my therapeutic style feels supportive for your goals. Because this work is trauma-informed, we may move slowly at first. Slowness is not a lack of progress. It is often how we build enough safety for deeper change Therapy is a collaborative space — you set the pace, and I’ll support you with care, tools, and culturally responsive insight.
